1V1, 2V2, 3V3, 5V5
Awesome you've made it to the last six days on the calendar. Now it's time to put all the skill training and games to work and play a friendly game of 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and  5v5.

​For the next six days your mission is to go outside to your nearest basketball court (e.g. driveway, local park or school (with adult supervision)) and play a minimum of 1 game to ten or for 30 minutes. So grab your best friend to play 1V1, grab a group of friends to play 2v2, 3v3, or jump in a local pick-up game to experience 5v5. 

Keys to remember: Play hard, give your best effort and have fun.

1v1 (1 half-court game to 10-Points or 30-minutes of play)
  • You will need a basketball, a basketball hoop, and a friend or parent.
  • Normal two point shots are now worth one point and Three-point shots are worth two points.
  • You will both shoot a free throw to see who gets the ball first. Whoever misses is on defense first.
  • Alternate possessions after a made basket.
  • Keep score and play a game to ten. The first to score ten points wins. 

2v2 (1 half-court game to 10-Points or 30-minutes of play)
  • You will need a basketball, a basketball hoop, and three additional players.
  • Normal two point shots are now worth one point and Three-point shots are worth two points.
  • A player from each team will shoot a freethrow to see who gets the ball first. Whoever misses is on defense first.
  • Alternate possessions after a made basket.
  • Keep score and play a minimum of one game to ten. The first to score ten points wins. 

3v3 (1 half-court game to 10-Points or 30-minutes of play)
  • You will need a basketball, a basketball hoop, and 5 additional players.
  • Normal two point shots are now worth one point and Three-point shots are worth two points.
  • You will both shoot a free throw to see who gets the ball first. Whoever misses is on defense first.

5v5 (1 half or full-court game to 10 Points or 30-minutes of play)
  • You will need a basketball, one or two basketball hoop, and a 5v5 pick-up basketball environment.
  • Normal two point shots are now worth one point and Three-point shots are worth two points.

  • Alternate possessions after a made basket.
